ABOUT

Meet the Artist behind

Sylviamh – Art as a Journey of Identity and Transformation. Sylviamh is a multidisciplinary Zambian born Sylvia "Mwazanji" Mwanza Hansen who moved to Aarhus 8210 Denmark, at the age of 14. Her artwork reflects a deep engagement with personal evolution, cultural memory, and emotional landscapes.

With a style that fuses textured expressionism and symbolic abstraction, her collections evoke a quiet
power—both grounded and transcendent.

Her current series, UNVEILING HIDDEN IDs 2.0, explores the layered identities we carry and reshape over time. Drawing from the philosophy that we are not only born, but continually becoming, this body of work invites viewers to reflect on their own transformations.

“Take the best from the past. Learn from the worst. Forgive and erase the rest.” With this guiding ethos, Sylviamh brings to canvas what cannot always be spoken—growth,
memory, and self-reinvention. She prefers to let the work speak louder than biography, leaving just enough mystery to allow the art to take the lead. Her pieces have found homes in private collections and curated spaces internationally, and are sought after by collectors, designers, and galleries for their emotional depth, originality, and versatility across global interiors.
